What is the TOEFL?
The TOEFL measures the English of people who want to study at institutions where English is the main language. The most widely used version is the TOEFL iBT, taken online, which assesses all four skills. The TOEFL ITP is an institutional version used by universities and institutions for placement or local certification.

Results and level
Since January 21, 2026, the TOEFL iBT is scored on a scale of 1 to 6 (in 0.5 steps), aligned with the CEFR: a 5 equals C1. For two years, the score report also shows the equivalent score on the previous 0–120 scale, which many universities still use in their requirements.
What level do you need? Intermediate to advanced, depending on your target score. The course trains strategies and format; if your level is basic, we first raise it and then prepare you.

Why are Listening and Speaking so hard?
Because the TOEFL puts a lot of weight on understanding lectures and conversations and answering in a short time. In the preparation we work on exactly those two skills.
What score do I need?
It depends on the university. Check the exact requirement and whether it's expressed on the new scale (1 to 6) or the previous one (0 to 120); we'll help you interpret it.
Is the TOEFL ITP useful for studying abroad?
Usually not: it's an institutional test. International admissions require the TOEFL iBT.
Do you run the exam or register me for it?
